23 Years in Practice
I am truly professionally happiest when I am seeing patients. I have been in practice for more than 23 years with over 51,254 patient visits. From infants, senior’s, athletes, high tech executives to construction workers, and so on treating their foot and ankle issues.
An Athlete
I am an avid athlete myself, as are my husband and two grown boys. I have done Olympic lifting, Yoga and played basketball in high school and I love to hike on the beautiful trails of Las Vegas.
Professional Background
I went to UCSF for Biology, California College of Podiatric Medicine for my Podiatry degree, I had the privilege of doing 1 year surgical residency serving our countries veterans at VA San Francisco, and a one year Diabetic Fellowship at my Podiatry alma mater.
Over the years I decided to not do surgery in my practice, and instead I prefer conservative approaches in rendering care. I still do minor procedures in the office, and I refer more involved case out to my trusted colleagues in the area.
One Story of Many
I am truly professionally happiest when I am seeing patients. One of my patients has a job which requires her to be on her feet. She was in a lot of pain, was gaining weight because she could not exercise. The pain was affecting her sleep and her work. She intended to have surgery, after four visits and a pair of orthotics her pain is gone and she no longer intends to have surgery. This is a big win for the both of us.
